I learned that the Battle of Bunker Hill was actually in Breed's Hill but the leader thought that they were in Bunker Hill.
ReplyDeleteI learned that the gem for Texas is the Texas blue topaz, and that there is a holiday called Vesak, it is celebrated for budhists. Vesak celebrates the birth, the Enlightenment, and the death of the Buddha.

ReplyDeletei learned that the the high taxing in america was from stamps and sugar and the toll a food shrtage takes on a community and that there was a boston massacre where british troops and american troops fought and one african american was killed and the british claim that the americans had rocks and other such weapons to defend themselves and the americans distrusted troops in american colonies since the british opened fire but this massacre is still disputed by both sides how this massacre happened but no one knows.

I learned tha 100 dolars in US money is 108 dolars in canada and that there are many hot springs there and that Old Faithful goes of 20 times per day and that there is a continueus flow of water shooting up from it for at laest 5 muinets or more!

Also I learned what a filibuster is: a speech that prevents or modify a Bill to become a law. I learned that Louis and Clark headed for new land in the West and to find the Pacific Ocean.
